Some people are born with an instinct.

I can’t tell when or from where it comes. Maybe it happens to everyone but only some remember it. Or maybe only few are chosen to have it.

Enough suspense: some people feel they have a mission. The don’t know for sure what it is, but they feel they are called for something. Be it to help others, to spread an important message, these people are thirsty for something.

Well, I am thirsty for helping people. Kiva.org is a website a friend of mine told me about. I am very skeptical about these websites, but as I saw former president Clinton endorse it and some of the website collaborators on a piece of the Oprah Winfrey show, I decided I couldn’t demand much more credibility. Another idea is to check out the website www.volunteermatch.org, which can tell you what are the volunteer opportunities for volunteering in your neighborhood.

Even ‘meaningless’ help from one who has so little can mean much.
